Interstate 3 is a major North-South transcontinental Interstate Highway in the West coast portions of the United States. At a length of 809 miles (1,302 km), it is the third-longest Interstate Highway in the country. From North to South, it passes through California. It's South end is at California State Route 85 in San Jose, California and it's North end is at a concurrency with Interstate 5 in Tacoma, Washington. Major cities served by the Interstate include San Jose, Oakland, Sacramento, Klamath Falls and Tacoma.
